Abstract

The problem of diseases of the salivary glands remains relevant to date. The issues of timely diagnosis of reactive-dystrophic diseases of the salivary glands associated with a xerostomy symptom in patients are far from resolved, the choice of differential diagnostic criteria of primary, associated with the lesion of the salivary glands proper and secondary (symptomatic) - medicinal, systemically conditioned or arising against the background of a specific dental pathology is of particular importance (2,4,9).
