Abstract

The priority areas of health care in most developing countries are the preservation and strengthening of the health of children, since in adults it largely depends on what diseases they had in childhood. A study of the structure of dental diseases in children indicates that the incidence of dental caries has decreased significantly over the past decade, but it remains twice as high as in developed countries. Dental caries and inflammatory periodontal diseases, being the most common pathologies of the dentoalveolar system, remain topical problems of dentistry.
