Abstract

Literature data on the causes and mechanisms of excessive presence of gases in the intestine, methods of its correction are presented. A description of the drug simethicone is given with an overview of the results of a study of its effectiveness in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, as well as in improving the results of visualization methods for studying the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space.
