Abstract

This scientific article examines the main issues related to women's employment in Uzbekistan. Considering the contemporary socio-economic changes in the country, the author analyzes the impact of cultural, historical, and legislative aspects on female employment. The study is based on labor statistics analysis, surveys, and expert evaluations. The article discusses the problems of women's access to education, labor mobility, wage payment, as well as stereotypes and discrimination in the workplace. Recommendations are proposed for the development and implementation of policies aimed at increasing the level of women's employment and creating a favorable environment for their professional development in Uzbekistan.
