Abstract

This article examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on unemployment rates in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Utilizing an analysis of official data, statistical methods, and literature review, the article highlights changes in the economic landscape caused by the global crisis. Particular attention is devoted to the sectors most impacted by the pandemic and the measures undertaken by the government to stabilize the labor market. The study's findings reveal the extent to which the pandemic has influenced employment and incomes, providing valuable insights for the development of future economic and social policies in Uzbekistan.
