Abstract

The adoption of ideas and principles of sustainable development at the global and then at the national level has led to the need for sustainability at the level of companies - the so-called corporate sustainability. Corporate sustainability for businesses and managers has come to mean not only the growth and strengthening of such factors as competition, cost of resources and capital, availability of labour, safety requirements, standardization, but environmental requirements and social aspects, the impact of which was not taken into account before, are increasingly being added. It is these latter aspects that ensure sustainable business development based on the consistent implementation of the principle of responsibility to society.
