Development and Support of Small Business and Entrepreneurship In Uzbekistan At The Current Stage of Economic Development

Abstract

The article summarizes the essence and significance of the reforms carried out by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of development and support of small business and entrepreneurship at the present stage of the economy, reveals the main goals and objectives of supporting the development of small business, analyzes the indicators of the share of small business and entrepreneurship in GDP, industry and construction and puts forward proposals for the implementation of measures aimed at accelerated and effective development of small businesses and entrepreneurship, among which are important: financial support from the state in the form of affordable loans and grants for small businesses, as well as the development of special programs and subsidies; simplification of procedures and reduction of bureaucratic burden; organization of training programs, seminars and trainings for entrepreneurs; development of business incubators, coworking and technology parks; active attraction of investments and creation of a favorable investment environment for the development of small businesses; support for innovation and development of new technologies; development of international cooperation, etc.
