Abstract

Islamic finance is gaining popularity around the world as a viable alternative to conventional banking and finance. Uzbekistan, a predominantly Muslim country, has been exploring the potential of Islamic finance as a means of economic development and financial inclusion. This research aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current status and future prospects of Islamic finance in Uzbekistan. The study examines the regulatory framework for Islamic finance, the current state of the industry, and the challenges and opportunities facing its growth. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews with key stakeholders.
