Opportunities for the Formation of Tourist Clusters on the Example of the Samarkand Region

Using elements of SWOT-analysis, this article examines the factors that create favorable conditions, as well as, constrain the process of forming a regional tourism cluster in Samarkand region. Conclusions and recommendations are given based on the analysis, for creating favorable conditions in the region for the formation of a tourism cluster.
